2025-26 Strategic Plan

Strategic Goals

At Waukee Community School District, we are committed to providing all our students with the knowledge, experiences, and opportunities necessary to succeed after graduation. Our strategic plan lays out the priorities and goals of the District. Already, many pieces of this plan have been implemented, and our staff continues to do amazing work each day to provide our students with the best educational experiences.

Waukee CSD Five-Year Goals

By Fall 2030, the following will occur:

  • Waukee CSD will have a 100% graduation rate and all graduates will have had at least one work-based learning experience and a plan for beyond high school.
  • We will tell the story of Waukee CSD through a strategic marketing strategy that highlights why Waukee CSD is the district of choice.
  • In the context of a safe, collaborative, and supportive work environment, all Waukee CSD staff will experience a fully-aligned professional learning system from hire to retirement.
  • Waukee CSD will have a system that balances student experiences with overall district financial health. The District will maintain high-quality measures of the system and be a model for workplace health, safety, and wellness.
  • We will have high-levels of customer service across all operational departments; fully implement physical safety and cybersecurity procedures districtwide; and maintain or enhance our facilities and infrastructure.
